CUSTOMER TERMS / CIVERENT

Clear terms for a governed service.

These customer terms explain how Civerent accounts, subscriptions, governance records, and procurement paths work. They are an operational starting point and should be reviewed by qualified counsel for your business and jurisdictions.

Effective September 13, 2026

1. Service and eligibility

Civerent provides governance and readiness software for organizations that need to organize AI systems, risks, policies, controls, evidence, and operational reporting.

You may use the service only for a lawful purpose and only with authority to act for the organization connected to your workspace.

2. Accounts and workspace authority

  • Provide accurate organization and account information.
  • Keep credentials confidential and notify Civerent about suspected compromise.
  • Assign workspace roles only to people who are authorized to access the organization's information.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for maintaining appropriate backups of information you need.

3. Plans, prices, and recurring billing

The Team plan is currently offered for $99 USD per month through Stripe Checkout. The amount shown at checkout is the amount due before any applicable tax or other disclosed adjustment.

Growth, Business, and Enterprise/Government engagements are sales-led. Scope, limits, implementation work, procurement requirements, and final pricing are confirmed in the applicable order or agreement before payment.

Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Stripe may apply taxes based on the transaction and information provided at checkout.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a self-serve subscription through the Stripe billing portal when available or by contacting Civerent support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, and future renewals stop after cancellation.

Refund eligibility, including the current fourteen-day request window for billing errors or material service problems, is described in the Billing, Refunds & Cancellation Policy. Mandatory consumer or other applicable rights are not limited.

5. Customer content

You retain your rights in information you submit. You authorize Civerent to process that information only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service under applicable agreements.

Do not submit passwords, API keys, complete payment-card data, classified information, or regulated data unless the applicable safeguards and written terms are in place.

6. Governance limitations

Civerent is governance infrastructure and decision support. It does not independently establish legal, regulatory, governmental, security, or certification compliance and is not legal, tax, or professional advice.

Customers remain responsible for their AI systems, decisions, approvals, human oversight, evidence, and compliance obligations.

7. Acceptable use

Use of the service is subject to the Civerent Acceptable Use Policy. Civerent may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the service, or third parties.

8. Enterprise and government procurement

Enterprise and government customers may require a negotiated agreement covering security review, data processing, retention, accessibility, support, service levels, records, procurement, or other terms. Those requirements should be raised before purchase so the appropriate scope can be confirmed.

Civerent does not claim FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO, or other certification unless a current written statement expressly says so.

9. Questions

Questions about these terms, billing, procurement, or accessibility can be sent to the support address below. Please do not include passwords, API keys, or complete payment-card numbers.
