PRIVACY / COOKIES

Essential storage, disclosed plainly.

Civerent explains the browser technologies needed to operate the service and does not present an unnecessary consent banner for advertising cookies it does not currently use.

Effective September 14, 2026

1. Current use

Civerent currently uses browser storage and similar technologies needed for functions such as authentication, session security, account continuity, request protection, and essential interface behavior.

Civerent does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies or sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If these practices materially change, Civerent will update this notice and implement any consent or preference controls required before using those technologies.

2. Essential technologies

  • Authentication and secure-session state needed to sign in and access an authorized workspace.
  • Security and request-integrity information used to reduce unauthorized access and abuse.
  • Interface or workflow state needed to deliver a feature requested by the user.
  • Provider-controlled technologies used when a customer opens a hosted checkout, billing portal, or another external service.

3. External services

When a user follows a link to Stripe Checkout, a billing portal, or another provider-controlled page, that provider may use cookies and similar technologies under its own notices and service terms. Civerent does not control every technology placed by an independently operated provider page.

4. Browser controls

Most browsers allow users to inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, preserve neither security state nor preferences, and cause parts of Civerent to stop functioning correctly.

Because Civerent does not currently deploy non-essential advertising cookies, the website does not present a marketing-cookie preference center. A preference mechanism will be added before non-essential technologies are introduced where required.

5. Changes

This notice may be updated when Civerent changes providers, analytics, advertising, authentication, or interface technologies. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published.
